This AMT 4231-97 coolant recirculating pump has a cast bronze casing, column, and base, a 3/8" female NPT discharge port, and a 1/25 hp, 230V, 1 phase TEFC motor. The cast bronze impeller and shaft resist corrosion. The self-cleaning, semi-open impeller is more efficient than an open impeller and is less likely to clog than a closed impeller. This pump handles erosive liquids with viscosities up to 900 Saybolt Seconds Universal (SSU). The totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) electric motor is protected against dust and indirect water spray but is not submersible.
