BVV advises securing all Standard Pressure Clamps (excluding High Pressure) by initially tightening them by hand until snug, then using a screwdriver or wrench to turn them about two full revolutions to meet the torque specified in the data sheet. Always adhere to the data sheet's guidelines. Avoid over-tightening the clamp and fully compressing it, as this may excessively compress the gasket, apply excessive tension to the clamp threads, potentially causing failure, and stretch the clamp, reducing its operational efficiency.
